We have an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated individual to manage a variety of languages activities and projects undertaken by the School. The School offers evening class tuition to over 450 adult learners each year in nine different languages ranging from Spanish, French, Italian to Japanese and Arabic. You will manage the evening class programme including the organisation of the courses, finances and the staffing of classes. King Edward VII School leads on the HOLA (Home Language Accreditation Project.) You will administer, organise and liaise with external schools and agencies to arrange the GCSE and A Level exams, including acting as a speaking examination venue for the HOLA project.

•           be a skilled ICT practitioner, with excellent Microsoft Office skills

•           have very good interpersonal skills

Applicants must have a good working knowledge of the whole suite of Microsoft Office software and be comfortable using Word and Excel extensively. We use SIMS as our main management information software and whilst familiarity with this piece of software is not essential the successful candidate must be able to learn quickly as they will use this central source of management information on a daily basis.

We have a vacancy for a versatile, skilful and dedicate technician to provide high-quality support to Food Technology department. The main focus of this post is to provide support for the subject areas across all Key Stages with you being based at our Lower School site.

     -  strong organisational ability

     -  a genuine interest in education and young people 

Food Technology plays a prominent part in the life of the School and consistently achieves excellent results. The teaching accommodation is excellent – at both sites we have dedicated food rooms. There is effective and high quality technical and administrative support and the Faculties are well resourced.

We have an exciting opportunity for a strongly-motivated person to provide an administrative support service to the School at both our Lower School and Upper School Sites. You will also be required to cover reception to cover absence as required. 

The successful candidate will be required to provide a full administrative service to the departments, including dealing with written and verbal enquiries, updating of manual and computerised records, assisting with the organisation of School trips and events and the preparation and distribution of resources to support departmental staff. You will provide an efficient reception service for the School and be the first point of contact for students, parents and visitors at designated times
