We have a vacancy for a confident, enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced SENDCO/ Head of Achievement Support to join a strong, successful department from September 2025. 

You will join a dedicated Achievement Support Department providing support to students with a wide range of learning, behavioural and / or emotional or other special educational needs. You will be part of a strong team of professional education support staff making a vital contribution to the success of the School. You will be expected to work flexibly and sensitively leading the department and working with groups and individuals.

The successful candidate will be required to complete Disclosure and Barring Service declarations in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997. We have a vacancy for a confident, enthusiastic, suitably qualified and experienced teacher of History and Geography to join the successful History and Politics and Geography Departments from September 2025. 

The successful candidate will: 

•           be an excellent History and Geography teacher across the full age and ability range

•           be familiar with Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 of the National Curriculum, GCSE and A Level requirements

•           have the calibre and ambition to develop his or her career in and beyond this post 

History plays a prominent part in the life of the School and is taught by experienced, specialist teachers who are committed to their ongoing professional development. It is a popular choice at GCSE and Advanced Level, with consistent positive outcomes for students. The department is an outward facing and well-connected one, which shares expertise across the region at both primary and secondary level. We are passionate about engaging all students in the study of History, regardless of ability; we are therefore committed to diversifying, decolonising and creating an inclusive curriculum that reflects and celebrates the community we serve.  

Geography plays a prominent part in the life of the School and the department consists of five specialist teachers with dedicated administration support. You would be joining an excellent department and as part of this team you will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range up to and including A level. There are fieldwork opportunities for students and residentials take place at key stage 4 and 5. Additionally, Geography is also taught as a discrete subject at Key Stage 3. This is the ideal post for a candidate who wishes to develop their skills and broaden their experience within a supportive environment which will allow them to excel.

We have a vacancy for a versatile, skilful and dedicate technician to provide high-quality support to Food Technology departments. The main focus of this post is to provide support for the subject areas across all Key Stages with you being based at our Lower School site. 

The successful candidate will have:

     -  a wide range of excellent practical skills

     -  strong organisational ability

     -  a genuine interest in education and young people 

Food Technology plays a prominent part in the life of the School and consistently achieves excellent results. The teaching accommodation is excellent – at both sites we have dedicated food rooms. There is effective and high quality technical and administrative support and the Faculties are well resourced.  

Applicants must have a good working knowledge of the whole suite of Microsoft Office software and be comfortable using Word and Excel extensively. We use SIMS as our main management information software and whilst familiarity with this piece of software is not essential the successful candidate must be able to learn quickly as they will use this central source of management information on a daily basis.
