Coronavirus, School closure and the cancellation of GCSE, A Level and BTEC examinations
Last week the Prime Minister announced that all the examinations scheduled for summer 2020 would be cancelled as a direct result of the Coronavirus pandemic and all schools would close on Friday 20 March 2020 to protect young people and staff. This announcement, particularly relating to examinations, had a profound and immediate impact on students and teachers across the whole country, including those in our School, and left many young people very upset, distressed and confused.
